Conversations with Sophie – Act 8

A favorite activity of both Sophie and Henry’s is to watch our landscapers cut our lawn each Thursday.  While quite excited to go to the library on Thursday morning, Sophie was a bit distressed to learn upon arriving home that we may have missed “the boys.”  When I reassured her that they had not yet been to our house she was quite relieved.

After reading the plethora of books we checked out for about the tenth time, imagine my delight when “the boys” pull up to cut the grass.

Extatic almost four year old runs to the front window to watch “the boys” and exclaims:

Sophie: Hola mi amigos!

  1. LOL! We had a new king sized bed delivered a few weeks ago and the gentlemen who delivered it were speaking Spanish.

Tessa heard them and said, “Mommy, what are they saying?”

I replied, “I don’t know. They are speaking Spanish.”

Tessa’s eyes got really wide and she said, “They must watch a lot of Dora!”
